Lily Fessenden is a recent graduate from Willamette University where she studied Politics and Women's and Gender Studies (WGS). For her senior thesis in WGS, Lily wrote a memoir about losing her mother to cancer. Lily also created a multimedia memorial project for her mother in her Grief Communication class. Lily has since shared the multimedia memorial project at a workshop of retired learners, to the next semester's Grief Communication students, and at the Rhetoric Society of America.
