Born and brought up in Delhi, India, Saurabh Anand is a doctoral student at the University of Georgia. His research centers on second language writing, Writing Center studies, and World Englishes. He moved to the United States in 2018 to do his MA in Teaching English to the Speakers of Other Languages from the Department of English at Minnesota State University, Mankato. He speaks and thinks in Hindi, English, Punjabi, German, and Hungarian. He says he is a baby in the crib of the literary world. Most of his poems, creative non-fiction essays, and auto-ethnography scholarly work have immigration, internationalization of pedagogy, and international student perspectives as common themes.
